Every product that leaves SiCar Farms carries more than just quality — it carries the work, effort, and dreams of the people who make it possible. Fairtrade certification is how we ensure that effort translates into fair conditions and real opportunities for our people and their communities.
Fair pay, not dictated by the market
One of Fairtrade’s core pillars is fair pay: our collaborators receive compensation that reflects the true value of their work, independent of market fluctuations. This means stability for families and the certainty that their daily effort is reflected at home.
The Fairtrade Premium: the community decides, SiCar Farms makes it happen
Beyond wages, Fairtrade includes a premium that communities themselves decide how to invest, in health, education, housing, or infrastructure. At SiCar Farms, our role is to support that process and turn those decisions into tangible benefits.
The impact in numbers: 2025
During 2025, more than 800 SiCar Farms families benefited through Fairtrade. The Fairtrade Premium was allocated to programs supporting household appliances, healthcare services, student assistance, and funeral services. These figures represent families with more dignified living conditions, students who are able to continue their education, and communities with greater access to essential services.
Working conditions that put people first
Fairtrade also means safe, humane workspaces, with ongoing training and conditions that support the wellbeing of every collaborator at SiCar Farms.
Environmental commitment as part of the same seal
This certification goes hand in hand with sustainable practices: efficient water use, reduced chemical use, and recycling programs aimed at maintaining balance between our production and the environment that makes it possible.
Purpose in every harvest
When you choose products with the Fairtrade seal, you’re supporting real stories — people who work with pride and who, thanks to this commitment, now have better opportunities for themselves and their families. At SiCar Farms, we continue farming with that purpose.
